Listening Maps

Listening Maps are a visual tool to learn about music. You can use them to learn about form, instrument recognition, programaticism, texture, themes, and much, much, much more. I believe that one key to using film music in the classroom is to take it out of its context of movies and use it as a classic, stand-alone piece of work. By doing this, you are giving film scores the musical credit they deserve.

All listening maps provided are home made with Word 2000. Please give credit to the original author of the listening maps where as any fonts or pictures used are the property of their respective owners. Not to be sold. For educational use only. If you have questions, comments, or success stories with these maps please email me.
